These words were spoken by Abo Al-Qassem Al-Shabbie, a Tunisian poet, in his poem "إرادة الحياة", The Will to Live. That was way back in the early twentieth century, but a while ago, Tunisia finally responded and took a stand.
Today, Egypt stood too.
I don't know exactly what's going on, I didn't have a chance to see the protests, but what I want to say is that, whatever comes out of this, Egypt should be proud of its citizens. No matter what happens, to the people who took part in the demonstrations today, thank you. You made us all immensely proud and gave us hope in a way you couldn't possibly believe.
