The Study Syndrome

Understatement of the year: I haven't posted in ages!

But don't worry (if you're a faithful Babbler, you should have been worrying! Nah, just kidding...or am I? *evil laugh*), here I am, typing up another NB post while I should be studying science (specifically, immunity) for my exams next week. Ah, do I hear someone asking how the studying's going? Yes, I do! Who? Her there, at the back! Miss Her, the studying's going perfectly fine, thank you -- NOT. I don't seem to be able to study much. For example, today I studied a chapter and a half of my Arabic story, did some math exercises and three science lessons (two more to go today and six tomorrow and science will be over, yay me!). I should've finished that chapter and a half yesterday and studied Arabic grammar and ALL my science lessons today! I keep making all these schedules in my head but they just never work out. I guess nearly every student has the same dilemma (if you don't, PLEASE tell me how you've managed to avoid it).

It doesn't help that I'm a born procrastinator. I mean, about basically EVERYTHING! But I USED to be able to study for more hours at a time. *Sigh*. I guess that was in the good old days when the load was lighter and the lessons easier.

Wish me luck (which is just when preparation meets opportunity, by the way. A post on that later. Yes, LATER. Immunity awaits!), and I wish anyone who has exams luck as well (see previous parentheses [British English: brackets. Wait, my English exam was last week...]).

Now, stop reading you little procrastinator, and GO STUDY!

  2. I feel pretty much the same way right now... I have a poetry project, two exams required for graduation, all my finals, a theater project, my new improv troupe....it's nice to know this is a universal problem!
