Template Dilemma

I know, I know, I owe you guys a MASSIVE apology and a huge post. Newbies, first-timers and the confused, here's why:

a) Not posting for a while, and even then it wasn't such a good post.
b) More importantly, putting those of you who checked Nameless Babble in the past while through a REALLY hard time with all the different templates and backgrounds I kept putting, NONE OF WHICH looked any good.

But, in my defense, it's really, really, really hard to find a good Blogger template that goes well with your blog. And I didn't exactly feel like posting when my blog looked like...well, what it looked like. Hopefully it looks better now, even though I'm back with a two-column template. Still, I've finally found something that possibly looks good. Let me know what you guys think.

On the other hand, I'm thinking of making my own Blogger template someday. Those of you who saw the background and banner I made myself are probably recoiling in fear now, but practice makes perfect, eh? And I really want to make a template that is in sync with the vibe of the blog, you know? I know that sounds hippie-ish, but it's true.

So, what's the problem, you ask? (If you didn't, shame on you! There're always obstacles, that's what makes life interesting!) Well, there are actually two problems:

a) I don't have much knowledge about HTML coding.
b) I USED to have Adobe Photoshop CS2, which I got from this place which fixes computers and installs programs for you and stuff, but it kept telling me to activate after 30 days. I used it for those 30 days, and then hey presto, the month was up and I couldn't use it unless I activated it online. So I did, and it failed. Again. And again. And again. And Photoshop prices (here in Egypt, I don't know about the rest of the world) really are expensive. Like over-the-top expensive.

Still, if you know of any Make-Your-Own-Blogger-Template tutorials, let me know please!

Wow, it feels good to blog!

  3. I love the new template. I just got a new template myself, and it was ridiculously hard work! I took me at least an hour to work out. Good work! : )
