Of Birds and Teachers

As I sit here by the pool in my neighborhood, logging on some wireless network that is coming off some house whose owners didn't have the sense to password-protect it (go on, report me to the authorities), I watch a bird walking alongside the pool and I wonder, what do birds think? Are their minds big enough to hold thoughts other than the ones that are programmed inside them (eat, drink, fly, etc.)? And what if birds DID think? What if at the same time I'm sitting here typing this, the bird is going, "What on nest is that girl up to?" 

Oh, wait. It flew away.

Anyways.

So, school wasn't so bad today. But honestly, I think teachers waste 50% of their energy on meaningless lectures about conduct. I mean, really, why would ANYONE in their right minds become a teacher in the first place? It's basically a synonym for HEADACHE.

Must go bird-watch now (i.e. tend to my Facebook addiction).
