Okay, drifting off topic here; but let's hold on to one of those ideas. Sadness and happiness. Have you ever noticed how extremely linked they are? One person's sadness is another's happiness, and vice versa. In fact, one person's sadness may in another instance be the very same person's happiness! Have you ever pondered the majesty of feeling happy? That feeling you get sometimes when you catch yourself smiling and go, "I'm happy." Just like that, completely out of the blue. It's a beautiful feeling. We never really understand that we wouldn't ever get that feeling WITHOUT feeling like everything is hideous a lot. I mean, it's only logical, if you were always happy, how would you know that you were happy? You wouldn't. Besides, you'd find something to BE upset about. Human beings have an uncanny way of doing that.
It doesn't matter if you didn't get anything I said above in this post (I know I'm extremely incoherent sometimes), because the bottom line is: Don't waste time. Be happy. Yes, there will be times when you'll feel UNABLE to be happy, but you have to try. You'll get there. Appreciate sadness as well. Know that without it, you wouldn't taste happiness. It sounds cheesy, but really, it's true. "Darkness is just the absence of light."
You are no incoherent at all, that was expressed beautifully and is absolutely true. You cannot have hate without love, you must experience pain to understand what it is to be pain free.
