What I'd Like To See In Future Me

Last time, I talked about some things I want to change in myself. This time, I'd like to elaborate. But let me tell you about myself first.

If you asked me what word would best describe me, I'd have to say "paranoid." I am really paranoid. I always judge people quickly, and I sometimes feel like the person I'm talking to can't stand me, but I'm often wrong. I'd say I'm pretty much a lazy negative unsociable pessimist who doesn't have a life.

Now that that's been said, let me tell you the kind of person I'd like to be. I'd like to be an energetic positive optimist, who doesn't judge people and isn't scared of expressing herself. I'd like to be way more sociable and seize every opportunity as it comes by. I'd like to live in the moment and stop reliving past embarrassments and thinking of future plans. I'd like to stop worrying and just relax and be happy and satisfied with what I have. I'd like to be closer to God and to be truly thankful to Him for everything. I'd like to immerse myself in activities and actually have a life. I'd like to make a difference.

Pretty big wish list, huh? And hopefully, all these things WILL happen. I can't stay like this forever, now, can I?

If you too want to change, or have changed, share your stories of personal growth (or hope for such!) in the comments.
