On Positivity

You know how sometimes when it's a clear day and you look at the sky, you feel like it's made up of all these blue pixels? It feels strange and confusing but wonderful. That's what life is like. Confusing, definitely strange, but it can be wonderful at times.

Pessimism and negativity are probably two of the most widely-spread diseases these days. Just think for a minute: Who do you know isn't negative? I bet you'll find you know someone who is. It might even be you!

The question I really want to know is: Why are we negative? Why do we expect bad things when what we really want are good things? We think that this way, it'll be easier on us when this don't work out. And maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But that isn't an excuse!

I read somewhere that you invite things into your life. If you have a positive outlook on life, you'll get good things. However, if you choose to maintain a negative viewing, all you'll get is bad stuff. Now, I don't know if that's true or not, but what I do know is one thing: Negative thoughts, ideas and feelings pollute your soul! Honestly, don't you just feel SICK of all the negativity? I do!

Plus, being positive helps you think clearly to accomplish your goals, get over your fears, and reach your dreams.

Remember, God encourages us to be positive and optimistic in the Qu'ran. "Tafa2alo bel 5ayer tagedooh."
